This event will be an occasion to delve into the innovative Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Following the enactment of the EU's CSRD, all large companies are now required to disclose information on the way they measure and manage Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. The CSRD will not only apply to a greater number of EU companies than previous reporting rules, but will also bring a number of non-EU companies and their EU subsidiaries into scope.
The panel will discuss about the impacts of the CSRD on non-EU companies and concrete steps that companies are putting in place to integrate ESG into their corporate strategy and operations. Professionals from different industries will share examples of how they are integrating ESG into corporate strategy and operations, gathering ESG data, and evaluating ESG performance.

Beatrice began her career in the asset management industry working in the operational risk team of Eurizon Capital SGR SpA in Italy. She then successfully joined the International Talent Program of Intesa Sanpaolo, holding 3 different roles within the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division. First in Italy where she provided solutions to large corporations planning their energy transition. She then moved in Singapore supporting Southeast Asian and Indian large corporate clients with traditional corporate lending solutions and sustainable-linked loans.
She is currently relationship manager in Hong Kong and, with 10 years of experience serving both publicly listed and non-publicly listed clients, her portfolio comprises conglomerates, MNCs, and SMEs clients from various industries such as Energy, TMT, and Infrastructure. She is also supervising the implementation of commercial strategies in APAC, with a particular focus on sustainable finance.

Christoph is appointed as General Manager Hong Kong, South China, and Macau for Lufthansa Group since February 1, 2020. He is responsible for Passenger Sales of Lufthansa German Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) in Hong Kong, South China, and Macau markets.
Christoph previously worked as Head of Content & Dialogue Marketing for SWISS based in Zurich. He was responsible for airline sponsoring, event management, social media channels, newsletters and tourism partnerships.

Stratton
Sanlorenzo APAC Vice-President Sales & Simpson Marine Chief Sales Officer
Hailing from the UK, Nick Stratton has been based in Asia for more than a decade and has been personally responsible for over 300 yacht sales throughout the region. Following a successful brokerage career in the UK, Nick relocated recognising the strong growth potential in the Asia market.
Heading up the sales team of Simpson Marine and Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific team, Nick has developed the markets with a wealth of knowledge on buying, selling, and running yachts in SEA. Having been based in the region for more than a decade, Nick has a wide portfolio network and is equipped to help owners with all aspects of yachting.
Nick has a passion for yachting, having learned to sail as a child and never stopped. As a yacht owner himself, Nick spends his weekends boating and enjoying the lifestyle we all strive to promote.
Walter
van Hattum
Head of Trade and Economic Section at EU Office to Hong Kong and Macao
Following his studies in political economy, development and business administration, Walter worked on trade, industry, and development policies, among others for the International Labour Organisation in Nigeria; as a career diplomat for the Dutch Foreign Service; Oxfam Novib; and the European Union.
For the EU, he helped establish a joint undertaking in Barcelona supporting nuclear fusion development. He worked on humanitarian aid and health policies and more recently on EU trade policy.
Moreover, Walter was posted in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, where he served as head of the trade section of the EU Delegation, engaging government and civil society on free trade agreements, trade and sustainability, and market access.
In January 2021, he was appointed head of the trade and economic section of the EU office to Hong Kong and Macao.
