Dominic Edmondson is a special counsel in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office and a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. His practice focuses on information technology advisory work, IT sourcing & transactions, cybersecurity, e-commerce, telecommunications, global data privacy and data protection, digital media as well as contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.
Dominic has a keen interest in AI, big data and distributed ledger technology and their impact on business in the Greater China region. He studied Mandarin and put it to good use advising clients on intellectual property strategy and enforcement in Mainland China, where he worked for four years (in Beijing) before moving to Hong Kong.

Raffaele Giarda co-heads the IPTech and Corporate/M&A practices in the Firm's Italy offices. He has contributed articles to law journals, and often moderates and speaks at Italian and international conferences and seminars on tech legal and regulatory issues. Mr. Giarda is a lecturer at the University of Rome as well as at the Italian National School for Public Administration.
Mr. Giarda assists domestic and multinational clients in the areas of technology, telecoms, media, M&A, corporate law and commercial contracts. He advises on regulatory matters as well as on wireless networks and services, infrastructures rollout and provision, satellite networks, media platforms, mobile virtual network operators (MVNO), interconnection and access, the Internet of Things (IoT), other internet protocol scenarios, disruptive technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and connected vehicles.

Helen Pang is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office and a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group. Her practice focuses on the enforcement of brand-related intellectual property rights in Hong Kong and China, especially on civil litigation and enforcement work involving trademarks, counterfeiting, patents and copyrights. She also advises commercial intellectual property and domain name issues, and general intellectual property legal advice. She has experience advising healthcare and pharmaceutical companies on regulatory and compliance issues.

Loke-Khoon Tan is a senior partner of the award-winning IP & Technology Group in Hong Kong and China. He is currently on the Global Firm’s Steering Committee for the Consumer Goods & Retail (including Luxury and Fashion) Industry Practice and leads the Industry Practice in the AP region. He led the IP & Technology Group as Practice Group leader from 2005 to 2020. He is also the author of various IP publications including the trilogy of "Pirates in the Middle Kingdom: the Art of Trademark War" books.
Loke-Khoon supports the Firm's Global Diversity & Inclusion Committee, focusing on LGBT+ in Asia. As an integral part of the Firm's Corporate Social Responsibility Program, the Committee has broad oversight for the strategic development and implementation of the Firm's diversity and inclusion activities.
