Fabio Rossi was born in 1963 in Turin, Italy. At the age of eleven, he accompanied his mother, Anna Maria, on a trip to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. This early exposure to Asia – its culture, arts and people – had a lasting impact on him, inspiring his future professional endeavors.

Fabio moved to London in 1983 to attend the School of Oriental and African Studies, from which he obtained both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in art and archaeology. After a brief apprenticeship with the legendary dealership of Spink & Son, he joined forces with his mother, who had moved to London in 1986, to establish the gallery known today as Rossi & Rossi.

Beginning in the late 1980s, Fabio started traveling extensively within the United States, reaching out to museums and collectors throughout the country, and developing relationships that endure to this day.

Since 2005, Fabio has also been instrumental in nurturing the careers of artists of the greater Asia – Pacific region – from Tibet to Cambodia, Hong Kong to Pakistan. He moved to Hong Kong in 2011, two years later, he opened a gallery where he now exhibits the work of artists who would otherwise lack local exposure in addition to the classical Himalayan art for which he and his mother have become world renowned.

Over the years, Rossi & Rossi’s innovative exhibitions and top-notch scholarly publications in both the classical and contemporary realms have solidified the gallery’s status as leaders in the wide- ranging field of Asian art.

Claudia Albertini is senior director at MASSIMODECARLO gallery in Hong Kong. With more than twenty years’ working experience in Asia, Claudia has grown into a reference figure in the contemporary arts field thanks to her insight in the Asian art scene and her connections within the region.

A sinologist trained as an Asian art specialist, Claudia holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Ca’ Foscari University (Venice, Italy), a MA in Chinese Advanced Studies from the University of Sheffield (Sheffield, UK) and completed an “Executive Education: Business Management in the Art World” with the Sotheby’s Institute of Arts in London.

Claudia has also been contributing to international publications. Her own writings have appeared in: Il Sole 24 Ore Economy Art Plus, NY Arts, Art Pulse, The Architecture Newspaper.

In 2008 she published a book “ Avatars and Antiheroes: A Guide To Chinese Contemporary Artists” with Kodansha International.

Dee is the President of Brands and Retailing for Tessellation Group, where she also serves as a Director.

She is a board member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, M Plus Museum Limited, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Hong Kong – Europe Business Council.

Dee is also involved with the Y.L. Yang Foundation, Asia House, Mind HK, The Conference Board's Asia Corporate Leadership Council, Harvard University's Asia Center International Advisory Committee, Oxford Saïd's Ownership Project Family Advisory Council, Bloom KCCA Academy, and the Global Steering Committee of Social Entrepreneurship to Spur Health. In 2014, she was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and a Fellow of the Aspen Institute's China Fellowship Program.

Dee is actively engaged in the arts, serving on the International Councils of Tate and The Museum of Modern Art (New York). She is also a Council Member of the China Arts Foundation and a board member of Asia Art Archive. Her short film "An Exercise in Futility" was screened at the Beijing International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.

Also, Dee had editorial roles at iLook Magazine and Modern Weekly, focusing on sustainability. Her retail venture DYSEMEVAS in 2008 showcased emerging Chinese design. She holds a BA in philosophy from Harvard University.
