Selma is the Principal of SM & Co Solicitors. She was born and raised in Hong Kong, and comes from a mixed background, with her mum from Hong Kong and her late father, from Iran. Selma qualified as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2006 and in early May 2016, she started SM & Co Solicitors, which is in association with international Italian law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners, which has a dedicated Hong Kong branch. Prior to setting up her own law firm, she worked for various international law firms in Hong Kong, as well as being a Partner in a local firm. She graduated from the University of Manchester with a B.Mus and LL.B degree, as well as the University of Hong Kong for the PCLL. She is a Solicitor on the General Panel of Mediators in Hong Kong (HKIAC) and a Solicitor on the Legal Aid Panel.

Pezzini
Senior Manager at Hong Kong Monetary Authority
Silvia Pezzini joined the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in 2014 as a Senior Manager in Financial Stability Surveillance. Before joining the HKMA, Silvia worked for eight years at the Bank of England, where she worked on financial stability, monetary policy and macro-prudential policy issues. Earlier in her career, Silvia worked at the University of Namur in Belgium as an Assistant Professor.
Silvia has a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics, a Masters in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and an Economics degree from Bocconi University in Italy.
